Graduate PPC Account Executive

About You

You’ll get the best training in the digital media industry, as well as ongoing support and development throughout your time here to grow as a professional in the cutting edge, high growth, global industry that is digital marketing.

You’ll have a clear career path ahead of you, and everyone is promoted based on merit.

You could be like Craig. He graduated from Newcastle Uni in 2013 with a Genetics degree, joined NMPi that same Summer as an Account Executive and is now an Account Director managing a team of six people. Craig’s living the dream, and he even gets home in time to go to rugby training (don’t worry, he loves Disney movies too).

In addition, you’ll also:

  • Have a 2:1 degree, preferably a BSc, in a subject which required quantitative skills
  • Be analytical, with excellent numerical skills
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Be proficient in MS Office
  • Have a strong interest in the online industry

About Us

NMPi are an award-winning international digital media agency. We make it easier for people to find the things they want online, when they most want them.

We do that with data (lots of data), spread sheets (lots of spread sheets), creativity and charm (loads and loads of charm).

We partner with companies like Google, YouTube and Facebook to deliver online media campaigns for market leading and up and coming brands (and we’ve won lots of awards for our work too.)

Our head office is a super cool open plan space in Angel, with 70 friendly and ambitious team members, most of whom come from a STEM subject background. You can see some of the team in this photo.

We’ve got a fridge filled with snacks and drinks, and a Sonos system playing the coolest music around (with a fair amount of cheese thrown in for good measure).

We recently opened our first international office (in The Netherlands), and there will be more to follow this year. Exciting times!

We regularly have fun social events and company weekends away- we just got back from a weekend away ski-ing.

The Role

But what does a Graduate Account Executive do all day at NMPi? Well, you’ll be running digital media campaigns for leading brands. You’ll spend a lot of time working with large data sets, problem solving and forecasting. Basically, the kind of skills you will have picked up at Uni if you had quantitative elements to your degree, but now applying them to digital marketing.

You’ll be ensuring your clients PPC campaigns are performing well, being seen by the right people at the right time, discussing strategies with clients and trading tips and advice with your team.

What’s PPC? It stands for Pay Per Click- it’s when you click on a sponsored link in a Google search, or an add on your Facebook or Instagram timeline- the advertiser pays for that click.

You’ll be making sure those ads get seen by the right person at the right time, and be making sure the budget you’re spending is giving your clients the results they expect, and reporting in to them on a regular basis. It’s all done with lots and lots data, number crunching and being at the cutting edge of digital media tech.

Working at NMPi is fun, rewarding and satisfying, and we really invest a lot in you. But don’t just take our word for it, see what Will had to say about his first week working at NMPi on our blog here:
